
Amy Accardo holds a M. S. in education from Drexel University
in Philadelphia, PA and is certified in school administration,
special education supervision, special education, middle
school language arts, middle school mathematics, and
elementary education.
Amy has also completed her Relationship Development
Intervention, RDI® certification through the Connections Center
in Houston, Texas and currently works with families and
school districts in PA & NJ as a RDI® Program Certified
Consultant.
Amy has fifteen years experience in the field of special
education working extensively in the Council Rock and
Galloway Township School Districts before founding Bucks
County Learning Connections in February, 2005 to complete
her mission of providing developmentally based interventions
for children and adults with learning differences.
In addition to her professional background, Amy is also a
parent of a child with Autism and works to foster
understanding of differences in the community, through
facilitating a special needs church ministry, establishing
parent support groups and speaking to parent groups and
school districts about Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Rikki Petro holds a B.A. in Speech Pathology from Temple
University and has completed specialized training in the
treatment of children and adults with Autism Spectrum
disorders.
Rikki is currently a RDI® Program Certified Consultant in
Training, having attended beginning and intermediate training
at the Connections Center in Houston, Texas.
Rikki has over a decade of experience as a therapist and TSS
to children and teens with Autism utilizing a play-based
developmental approach and providing appropriate behavioral
interventions.
In addition to her professional background, Rikki has two
children and is an advocate for people with special needs in
her community.
